I am honored to have been invited to perform at the Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance Second Annual Celebration of the Arts. I will be representing the Iowa Women's Music Festival (Prairie Voices Productions) who is celebrating their 20th year!

The evening includes a presentation of the Cultural Advocate and Larry Eckholt Awards to community arts leaders and collaboration honors to partner organizations, in addition to the organization’s year in review.

DETAILS:

The Iowa Cultural Corridor Alliance (ICCA) invites you to join us for a Celebration of the Arts on Monday, November 12, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts. Celebration of the Arts is ICCA’s annual meeting event, intended to elevate the awareness of the artistic and cultural organizations in the Corridor and to celebrate the outstanding collaborations of ICCA partners.

 

The evening will begin with a reception, including hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and Spanish Guitar by Tom Nothnagle. The program will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will feature performances honoring the Englert Theatre, Orchestra Iowa and Prairie Voices Productions, each celebrating a special milestone anniversary in 2012. Arts organizations will be recognized for their collaborative efforts throughout the year by Collaborative and Reaching Out Award honors. Additionally, Larry Eckholt and Cultural Advocate Award honors will be given out to community members who have exemplified passion, commitment and advocacy to the cultural vitality of the Corridor.

 

The ICCA Celebration of the Arts is open to the community. Admission is $15 at the door. To attend, please RSVP to Jessica Johnson at: Jessica@culturalcorridor.org or 319.849.8ART (8278).
